Count’s Corner
6/25/1955 to 6/23/2022
The original multi-class adventurer. My father, known in extremely small circles as the CountofESU.
LootCastPuff is also a legacy
LootCastPuff exists to find joy on the hard days, heal yourself in nature, pass that joy forward to others, and believe that there’s more to life than we know.
My dad taught me that nature is sacred, and Aliens are definitely real, so be kind. You never know.
Puff
Puff is truly a dragon my father got me my first day on this earth. It was a stuffed dragon that was to protect me when he wasn’t around and to keep the darkness at bay, to keep us safe and encourage our exploration of this fantastical world. That’s who Puff is.
That’s truly my oldest, most prized possession, even as I’ve grown from a boy into a man.
Puff shows that kindness isn’t weakness. The world is a place to explore, a place to make friends, a place to spread joy, but we are powerful like a dragon. Darkness cannot encroach on our light.

The hoodie
One cold fall day when I was a kid, he and I were walking out of a card, comic and gaming store.
Behind the building, a man was struggling to stay warm. Without saying a word, Dad walked back to the car, grabbed a spare hoodie, and gave it to him.
No lecture. No performance. Just decency.
LootCastPuff carries that energy forward.
Watching him play
As a little kid, I’d wake up as early as I could and sneak down from our bedroom in the attic to the basement den.
I wanted to catch the end of his gaming session from the night before. Usually Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun.
Even 30 minutes to an hour of watching him play was time I can never get back. I miss it dearly.
Leave a stone
This pile never resets. One stone a day, from the bank or the couch. It started empty, it only grows, and one day it’s a mountain.
1 stone on the pile
Left. The pile is one heavier.
You left one today. Same pile tomorrow.
Leave a note for the Count
